Brentford star Keane Lewis-Potter rues slow start for West Ham defeat

Brentford star Keane Lewis-Potter rued his team's slow start against West Ham United.

The midfielder felt the team gave a decent account of themselves throughout the contest.

However, he believes that Brentford's 4-2 loss could have been mitigated if they had not gone 2-0 down within ten minutes.

“It's hugely disappointing," Lewis-Potter told reporters post-game.

“We started the game very sloppy, and you can't do that in the Premier League. You can't expect to get points from the game and today showed that.

“With the position we're in now, the most important thing is getting points on the board. We didn't do that today."
