Brentford fear Ben Mee's season is over.

The defender was forced off on Monday night during defeat to West Ham with a foot injury.

The London Evening Standard says scans have the Bees fearing the worst for Mee's recovery.

Mee has been a vital cog in Brentford's defence this season.

Brentford play Chelsea at home on Saturday and also face Arsenal, Manchester United and Brighton in their next five fixtures.
