Brentford are being linked with a move for Lorient winger Yoane Wissa.
The Congo international, who allegedly suffered a brutal acid attack last month, could be about to move from the French club.
Sky Sports says Brentford have agreed a fee with Lorient for the player's transfer.
Wissa is now in London, where he will have a medical and sign on the dotted line.
Brentford do not believe Wissa has any lasting damage from the acid incident, where a woman who had earlier wanted his autograph sprayed Wissa's eyes with a corrosive liquid outside his home.
He was hospitalised at the time, but there is not said to be any long term eyesight issues, only visible scarring.
