Brentford defender Mathias 'Zanka' Jorgensen has opened the door to a return to FC Copenhagen.

Zanka has a deal with the Bees to 2025.

He told Bold: "It always will be. It's 24 degrees in Copenhagen right now, and when it's like the days I've been home, it's just the best city in the world, and I'll stick to that forever.

"To my own pleasure, FC Copenhagen has begun to flourish again, at least in terms of results, and has the championships it deserves.

"You should never say never, but I don't know. When my contract expires, I will be 34, and it may not be what they want most, but there is always an option."
