Brentford chief Giles offers update on Man Utd, Spurs target Eriksen

Brentford have announced Christian Eriksen will come off contract at the end of the month.

The Bees are desperate to retain their great Dane for next season, but face stiff competition to do so.

Thomas Frank's side have confirmed that Eriksen is out of contract, but that they are attempting to keep hold of him.

Manchester United and former club Tottenham are among clubs keen.

Brentford director of football Phil Giles said: "It is no secret that we would love Christian to remain at Brentford for more seasons, and we will continue to discuss that possibility with him and his representatives."
