Brentford boss Frank: We're ready for Man Utd - and Eriksen

Brentford boss Thomas Frank says they face Manchester United believing they can win.

United go to London tomorrow on the back of their opening day home defeat to Brighton.

Frank said, "I don't believe there's a perfect situation or bad situation to play them.

"They have got a fantastic manager, they are doing everything to be successful. They lost their first game so will work even harder and do even better.

"United will be the favourites – I believe we have a good chance, but they have great players."

On facing former player Christian Eriksen, the Dane added: "We are looking forward to seeing him again and saying hello, also looking forward to competing. We cant give him too much time, he uses the ball so well.

"We only knew about [the transfer] 10 days before he went to Man United.

"The culture of our club is about respect and we hope that Christian gets a great reception before and after the match – but during the game it is all about beating the team he is now part of.

"It is about the two teams, but who knows how it will be reported if certain things happen."
