Brentford boss Frank on late Arsenal defeat: Players are devastated

Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits defeat to Arsenal was tough to take.

Kai Havertz found the winner for the visitors on 89 minutes.

Frank later said: "It's tough. The players are devastated, I praised them for a good performance. We did so many good things again, it's the story of these first 13 games. I think we have deserved more points than we have got, and the same again today.

"We were completely in the game, look at Arsenal with the players they have the budget they have, so it is incredible we played a completely even game with two chances each side, and unfortunately they scored theirs.

"We have a good squad but not as big as other teams, no complaints from here but it hurts a little bit with the injuries we have.

"With the players we had today, we could easily have had a point. We did a top job to keep two of the best wingers in the game quiet throughout the game, one top action from Saka, great movement from Havertz and unfortunately they score."
