Brentford boss Thomas Frank insists Ethan Pinnock isn't for sale.
The defender has been outstanding for the Bees this season.
Frank said, “No, no, no. He's not for sale.
“When I said I don't understand why they're not looking at him, it was just a compliment. I'm very impressed with Ethan. He just continues to perform at such a high level.
“I think he had a good first season in the Premier League, then last season he took it a level up. Or he definitely added layers and has kept that high level of consistency in his performances.
“Of course, I'm biased because I work with him everyday and look through his games with such detail, but the more I see of him and then other teams' centre-backs, I more I think he's definitely underrated .
“Especially, as a defensive centre-back. He has the ability to defend in every aspect of a football match. He's incredible."
On the 30 year-old, he added: “Look at Thiago. The biggest respect for him and his career, because he's one of his generations best centre- back, but I think there's more room for development for Ethan, no doubt about that. He's now 30, so can add a bit more in the next couple of years and then keep it at that level for a long time."
