Brentford boss Frank: I doubt I'd be happy elsewhere

Brentford boss Thomas Frank says it'd take something special to tempt him away.

While Frank signed a contract extension running until the summer of 2027 back in December, the likes of Aston Villa, Everton, Tottenham and Chelsea have all been touted as potential landing spots in various media reports.

Still, taking Brentford into Europe would be an astonishing achievement and Frank believes there is little reason to want to leave the GTech Community Stadium.

“It is clear that when we come over here, I think: 'Okay, it could be nice to try coaching the Premier League'," he told Tipsbladet.

“It has happened, and now I am here. And then I thought at one point: 'Hmm, if you could get another Premier League job maybe'.

“But on the other hand, I'm like: 'Will it make me happier?' I'm not sure, because this is a super cool place with lots of challenges yet.

“So, I'm a little doubtful about that. I want to say that if I have to leave here, it has to be a unique opportunity."
