Brentford boss Thomas Frank has spoken to former Oldham manager Dean Holden as he looks to hire an assistant.
The Bees manager is without an assistant, as Brian Riemer left last week after four years to become head coach at Belgian side Anderlecht.
Frank is hoping to secure someone who is young and bright to further evolve the playstyle and performances of Brentford.
Holden, per the Daily Mail, would be such a candidate at the age of 43.
He played 360 times as a professional, predominantly as a right-back, and has been in charge at Bristol City and Stoke City.
Brentford are presently in 10th place in the Premier League at the World Cup break.
