Brentford boss Frank: Beckham has Premier League potential

Brentford boss Thomas Frank says they've signed Romeo Beckham with the aim of developing him into a first teamer.

Beckham, 20, is contracted to Inter Miami but has been training with Brentford's 'B' side since the conclusion of the MLS season in September.

Having impressed during his initial months with the club, it was decided that Beckham would stay on for the remainder of the campaign as the club look to further aid his development.

"Yeah, I've seen him," Frank said.

"I think he's an interesting player. We hope, of course, like a lot of others that he can make it to the first team.

"Yeah, [he is] promising. Anyone who has got a contract here - be it a permanent deal or loan deal - there is always the opportunity to stay, of course."
