Brentford were able to sign Club Brugge striker Igor Thiago this week thanks to his suspension.
The Bees are paying €37m to land the Brazilian.
Voetbal24 says despite a match against AS Eupen, Club Brugge chiefs Vincent Mannaert, Dévy Rigaux and Thiago himself flew to London for medical tests. This was not noticed because of Thiago's suspension.
The €37m due is not entirely for Club Brugge, as Ludogorets negotiated a sell-on percentage when selling Thiago last summer for €8m.
The Bulgarians will receive €3.5m.
