Brande IF chairman proud seeing ex-junior Kristensen now with Leeds

Brande IF chairman Michael Koch is proud seeing Rasmus Kristensen now a Premier League player with Leeds United.

The Denmark fullback began his junior career with Brande.

Koch told Bold: "You can split it into two. The economy (compensation) is one part. If I have to be a bit cheeky, then I don't care a bit in that context, as it is even greater to see Rasmus NK (Rasmus Nissen Kristensen) develop on a bigger stage and go all out and live out the boyhood dream.

"It means more than what we get. As a club, we will probably survive despite that.

"Of course, it is always a helping hand, and you can always pay some of the money back to the volunteers and those who are in the club today. There are two ways in it. Regardless of whether we had gotten anything or not, I would have been just as happy to see Rasmus play for Leeds, or wherever he had ended up.

"It's just great that something is there for us, and I also think that there should be for the work that is done in the small clubs."
