Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite knows many are questioning his place with the Blagrana.

The Dane joined last month from Leganes as an emergency replacement signing for Ousmane Dembele.

"I can understand why it seems like a movie. However, I believe in creating one's own reality and there is no better evidence of it than what I have done in coming to Barcelona," Braithwaite told Soccerbible.

"All the things that have happened are something I have believed. I've worked for it all. I've talked to friends and family about such a change for a long time; that I would bring it to life, and now I'm here.

"If I couldn't see myself doing it, it never would have happened. I'm not the player everyone has looked back on and said 'yes, a brilliant talent, he'll be a superstar'. I don't want that either.

"Instead, I want to show everyone in the world that wherever you are from and what you do, you can do what you set out to do. Anything is possible with determination. That's what I want to show."
