Manchester City are battling to secure Brahim Diaz to a new deal.

Brahim's current City deal expires next summer and there's issues between the two camps over where he should play this season.

Goal says City want to send Brahim, 18, on loan to Girona but the player is said to be keen to stay and fight for a place in the first team.

If City can't promise Brahim regular opportunities in the senior side, he could look to leave the club permanently.
