Bournemouth are tracking Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff.
Longstaff has been a regular on-loan with Blackpool this season with 41 appearances but his goal tally has been singled out for praise by boss Gary Bowyer.
He netted a 25-yard strike in the 3-0 win over Northampton Town and he is now on the brink of double figures for the season - a feat considered as an offensive accolade for a central midfielder.
Bowyer said: “It's a wonderful strike from Longy but he's done it all season. That's nine for him now this season and eight in the league."
Longstaff still has another season to run on his Newcastle contract and could be loaned out again next season, says the Evening Chronicle.
He has already attracted admirers from Premier League clubs including AFC Bournemouth and attracted some intriguing interest from Glasgow Rangers.
