Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson explains weird goal celebration

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson was proud of his wonder goal against Leicester City.

There was an unusual lull after Wilson's acrobatic effort hit the back of the net, even though in front of a home crowd. The player, his team-mates and the crowd seemed in disbelief at what they had witnessed.

Wilson said: "Next time, hopefully my team-mates will realise it has gone in a bit sooner. I've hit it, I knew it had gone in but as I've got up and started celebrating everybody was just standing there and looking at me as if to say, 'What are you doing?'

"So I looked at the linesman and saw that his flag was down and he was jogging back to the halfway line so I just carried on celebrating."
