Bournemouth are chasing Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante.

Sky Italia says the Cherries have tabled an opening €8 million offer for Cristante - which Atalanta have rejected.

However, Bournemouth are expected to return with a new offer in the coming days.

The former AC Milan superkid played a key role in Atalanta's Europa League qualification this season after returning from a spell in Portugal with Benfica.

The 22 year-old is an Italy U21 international.
