Bournemouth's new arrival forward Enes Unal was impressed with the reception he received.
The deadline day signing had his chance to show his new fans what he can do on the field.
After a 1-0 loss to Manchester City, during which he came off the bench late in the contest, Unal said the atmosphere at Vitality Stadium was impressive.
The Turkish international told the Daily Echo: “It was lovely.
“It was like how I imagined - a family atmosphere, like fairly small, and when we get the fans behind us, it was really great.
“And they were pushing us - it's really important.
“We will try to do the same and give them a lot of energy from the pitch.
“They respond great to that. It was a lovely atmosphere."
