Bournemouth U23 coach Carl Fletcher is backing young pair Jordan Lee and Callum Stanton to make it in the game.
Defender Lee and goalkeeper Stanton both had their contracts cancelled by mutual consent ahead of the closing of the transfer window.
The Dorset-raised pair, who both signed professional terms after progressing through the Cherries youth ranks, are now free to find other clubs.
Fletcher told the Daily Echo: “Being free agents, Jordan and Callum now have the opportunity to trial at other clubs and would be allowed to sign for them now rather than being stuck waiting for another six months."
Meanwhile, Cherries boss Eddie Howe is delighted with the current form of Nathan Ake.
He said of the young defender: "I think Nathan has been a model of consistency. He is a great character with a great temperament.
“He trains very well every day and has the mentality to want to be at his best, whether it is a five-a-side or a training drill.
“I think you have then seen that come out on the pitch. He has been excellent for us and I am delighted with his contribution."
