Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie admits he has been enjoying getting to play alongside Alex Scott.

The midfielder is finally fit after a lengthy injury layoff, having signed in the summer from Bristol City.

The 20-year-old did get injured in the 6-1 loss to Manchester City, which Christie and all associated with the club hope will be nothing serious.

Christie told the Daily Echo: “I think everybody has been unbelievably impressed at how well Alex has done in the last few games when he's come in, especially with what has been asked of him.

“He's been out for quite a while and he's come straight in, gets his Premier League debut and doesn't look out of place at all, for a kid so young.

“I can't give him enough praise.

“It's been a pleasure playing with him in there.

“Fingers crossed it (the injury) is not so bad.

“With an international break as well coming up gives him an extra wee spell to hopefully get back fit, but we'll wait and see."
