Bournemouth are launching a bid for Feyenoord defender Marcos Senesi.

That's according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Premier League new boys have had a modest summer market so far and Romano reports: "Bournemouth opened talks to sign Marcos Senesi as a new centre back. Negotiations ongoing with Feyenoord, not an easy target but Bournemouth are trying.

"Still early stages also on the player side, Senesi's one of Bournemouth top targets."

The 25-year-old has a contract until 2023 at Feyenoord with an option for another year.
