Bournemouth lacked cutting edge against Arsenal - Howe

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe says that his team lacked a cutting edge in their 2-0 defeat against Arsenal.

Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored in quick succession for the Gunners in the first half of the game as the Cherries found it difficult to make inroads, suffering their first defeat in four games.

"We found it difficult to get pressure on the ball and influence their possession in the first half," Howe told Sky Sports.

"We worked on a few things at half-time, we managed to get more pressure on the ball, we managed to dominate the ball, in fact, in the second half.

"It was just the cutting edge on that final ball and final finish, and obviously [Petr Cech] is world class and he made a couple of great saves."
