Bournemouth are hopeful of winning the race to secure the services of Jonathan De Guzman.
The Cherries have made a couple of great signings such as Max Gradel, Sylvain Distin and Christian Atsu this summer and now in another major coup, it has been claimed by the Daily Star that the Dorset club are set to sign Dutch international De Guzman from Napoli.
The reports state that Bournemouth have beaten the likes of Everton and Sunderland to the signing for De Guzman by agreeing a £727,000 loan fee with Napoli and the Premier League new boys have the option of turning the deal into a permanent one at the end of the season.
