Bournemouth starlet Jack Simpson received a call to train with England U21 ahead of their European Championship qualifiers.

Not being a regular member of the squad, the young defender is ineligible to play against the Netherlands and Latvia.

However, Young Lions boss Aidy Boothroyd didn't want to miss on a chance to add Simpson to his side for the trainings.

Boothroyd was impressed with Simpson's qualities after watching the youngster play a full Carabao Cup game for the Cherries in a 3-0 win against MK Dons last week.
