Bournemouth defender Cook: No time to adjust to empty stadiums

Bournemouth defender Steve Cook says they must be ready to win instantly for the Premier League restart.

The Cherries will resume competitive action inside the bottom three in the division – with 27 points from their first 29 league encounters.

And Cook believes Eddie Howe's men have to embrace the unique challenges they face in order to beat the drop.

“It's great for me and the lads to be back playing, obviously it's a strange time," he said.

“We obviously haven't played Premier League games before in June or July, so it's going to be a different experience.

“No fans is going to be hard but it's something we have got to embrace and get our heads round.

“Hopefully we can get the business done, so when the fans return they will be coming back to watch Premier League football. That's what we want to be able to give them."
