Bournemouth captain Neto: We must stop soft goals

Bournemouth captain Neto says they need to stop shipping cheap goals.

The Cherries were beaten 3-1 by Brighton on Sunday after matching the Seagulls for three quarters of the game.

Seaking to the Daily Echo, Neto said: “Tough result.

“First half, we played very well. It was the ideas that we spoke about. We put it on the pitch and we created opportunities.

“We felt good on the pitch.

“In the first half, we were a little bit unlucky and we concede the first goal, and then the game changed.

“I think you come to the break drawing a game that you are doing really well, where your confidence is high and you don't know how they score.

“Of course, it's not the best thing. Then the second half, they had the opportunity to score in the first seconds.

“I think that we have to change, because we can't concede so easily like that, but it's football.

“Many times things happen you can't control."
