Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe says he is heartbroken after the club suffered a late defeat at the hands of Chelsea in the Carabao Cup Quarter Finals.
The south coast were the away side, but they played some terrific football and constantly threatened Chelsea.
However, it was the home side that took an early lead through Willian. Bournemouth equalized in the 90th minute through Dan Gosling, but Chelsea went up the other end and got the winner through Alvaro Morata.
"It's heartbreaking," Howe said after the game.
"We didn't get a good start. We penned them in with waves of attacks. The last part of the game is disappointing."
Bournemouth are now out, while Chelsea have a semifinal clash against Arsenal to look forward to.
