Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is delighted Sam Surridge has penned new terms.
The 20-year-old striker, on loan at League Two Oldham, penned a fresh deal tying him to Cherries until 2021.
Boss Howe told the Daily Echo: “I'm pleased Sam has pledged his future to us – he is a talented player with a great attitude. He wants to win and wants to score.
“He wants to do well and, most importantly, wants to learn. I'm delighted he's staying with us."
Surridge, who has been likened to former Cherries star Brett Pitman by Howe, has also had temporary stints with Poole Town and Weymouth.
