Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says Arthur Boruc can play into his 40s.
Boruc, who turns 39 on Wednesday, has figured in Cherries' past four Premier League outings having won his place back from Asmir Begovic.
Asked if the stopper could play at 40, boss Howe said: “Possibly. That will come down to Artur and his motivation levels and mindset.
“Certainly, I'm seeing someone who is very focused on his football and is very driven to do well for team.
“In terms of shape and physical condition, I do think this is up there with the best shape I've seen him in.
“He is physically very lean and doesn't look his age or play like his age, which is a huge compliment.
“He is looking after himself very well and is a top-class goalkeeper."
