Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes that Asmir Begovic deserved to start against Leicester City.

The goalkeeper came in for Artur Boruc, after being away from the first team for almost ten games.

But he was unable to help the team, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan.

Speaking about the goalkeeping dilemma, Cherries boss Howe told the Daily Echo: "I have always said I feel like I have two number ones. Asmir trained very well and deserved to play.

"I have got two very good goalkeepers and they are both very experienced. I have no doubts that they will do a very good job for the team."
