Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe had no complaints after their 3-1 defeat at Leicester City.
Jamie Vardy scored twice and Youri Tielemans also struck for the Foxes. Bournemouth were lacklustre at best with Callum Wilson equalising for 1-1 with their only real chance of note.
Howe said, "There were bits in the first half we were pleased with. The goals killed us - from the first to the third. We've gifted them goals. It gave us a mountain to climb.
"I had a good view of the Tielemans challenge on Callum Wilson - it looked a bad one.
"Those moments do have a bearing on the result. Not the referee's fault we conceded three.
"The last two games we conceded three apiece. Against Manchester City it's going to be difficult but today we didn't do our jobs."
