Bournemouth have officially announced that seven youngsters will be departing their academy at the end of the season.

The club are set for a rejig at youth level in the summer, with many under-18s gaining promotion to the development squad.

While as many as 11 players making that step up, others have not been as fortunate.

Goalkeeper Ollie Camis, defenders Chris Francis, Brooklyn Genesini, Tarik Gidare, Josh Popoola, and midfielders Marcus Daws and Matt Burgess have not been offered contract renewals..

Development squad coach Alan Connell told the club's website: “It's always difficult seeing players leave the football club, and we wish them well as they continue their careers elsewhere."

Out of these players, Genesini is the only one who ever made an appearance for the club's senior side.
