Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd will return from a fortnight's holiday then decide whether to remain with the Bluebirds. The 29 year old is out of contract at Cardiff and has been tipped to leave following the club's failure to secure promotion to the Premier League.
Premiership duo Everton and Sunderland have been linked with bids for the 29-year-old, who won an England cap against France in November.
However, Bothroyd's agent Sky Andrew has confirmed the forward will go away on holiday before making a decision about his next move.
"Jay will go away for a couple of weeks, relax and mull over his options," said Andrew in the Daily Star.
"This is not the time to make any decisions. He has played a lot of games this season and needs to clear his head.
"Jay has been at Cardiff for three years and likes playing there, but we have a bit of time before anything has to be done."
