Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze is a target for Tottenham.

The Sunday Express says Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign at least three players before the transfer window closes with Benfica's Gedson Fernandes the only new arrival so far this month.

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is the club's top target, though they do have two fall-back options.

Mourinho is keen to strengthen his attacking options with Harry Kane set to miss the rest of the season, and chairman Daniel Levy will be haggling hard for the best possible deal.

His other options include Borussia Dortmund duo Spanish international Paco Alacer and Germany star Gotze but re-uniting with Bale remains his first choice.
