Borussia Dortmund midfielder Emre Can insists his former manager at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, isn't a football obsessive.

Having played under Klopp during three of his four years at Anfield, the Germany international has said for his compatriot "family is number one".

Speaking on Instagram Live, Can said: "Everyone who knows him, knows what a cool guy he is.

"He is the way he is, he gives everything for his players. For him, the human thing counts and that's great.

"Football is important to him, but family is number one."
