Borussia Dortmund captain Emre Can was pleased with his team's outing against Manchester United.

The German Bundesliga side held their own against the Red Devils for long stretches of a preseason friendly in Las Vegas.

Despite being under the cosh for part of the first half, Dortmund won the contest 3-2.

"It was certainly better today than in San Diego [a 6-0 win over San Diego Loyal]," Can told Dortmund's in-house media team.

"It wasn't easy as Manchester United's movement on the pitch was extremely good.

“But we held our own well, were aggressive and scored the goals at the right time."
