The agent of Sunderland striker Fabio Borini says AC Milan's interest shouldn't be a surprise.
Borini has been linked with a January move to Milan this week.
His agent, Roberto de Fanti, told Corrieregiallorosso.com: "It is normal for a striker who is 25 years old, Italian, who has international experience interests many Italian teams.
"Fabio was very happy in Rome, but is now focused on the Premier and there is no chance he will go away in January. In June as for all the players, we'll see.
"I think it would still be impossible for a loan with the right of permanency, given the importance of the player for Sunderland and the different mentality of the English club, which rarely provide this type of formula."
