Bordeaux hope to keep hold of star midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.
The likes of Manchester City and Arsenal have been linked with Gourcuff, who is currently on international duty with France at the World Cup.
An offer in the region £20 million could be difficult for Bordeaux to resist, though majority shareholder Nicolas de Tavernost believes there is a chance he could stay.
"Contrary to what I have heard, we have the means to keep him at the club next season," De Tavernost told L'Equipe.
"He can stay with us. There is no reason for him to leave.
"Anyway, we will see how he feels after the World Cup."
