Southampton have been handed a huge boost in Jay Rodriguez's road back to full fitness.
Rodriguez has endured a terrible spell on the sidelines over the past two years due to various injury problems, including a sever knee problem, but the striker has been stepping up his bid to return to the first team recently and he certainly displayed promising signs in Southampton U21's 5-0 victory over Liverpool.
The 26-year-old bagged a fine hat-trick by scoring on the 35th, 55th and 64th minutes respectively and he expressed his delight by posting the following message on Twitter.
