Wilfried Bony admits former Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup almost drove him to demand a move.
Bony was frozen out by the Dane earlier this season and was regretting his move from Vitesse Arnhem.
"As a striker, if you don't play, you get angry. And I was angry.
"At that time I thought, 'What is happening to me? Why don't I play?' It was confusing.
"I even thought, 'I want to go'. But where to? Because if you're not a success at Swansea, then Chelsea, Arsenal or the Manchester clubs will not call you.
"That's when I decided this is just one step of my life - and to be positive.
"I always want to play and always want to score more goals. And big games like today's are very important."
