Tottenham coach Kevin Bond has taken a swipe at Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini for ignoring their title credentials.
Victory tonight at Liverpool will move Spurs back to within five points of leaders Manchester City after Mancini claimed the title race was down to two teams last week.
"Our aim all season has been to finish in the Champions League but we also want to finish as high as we can.
"Last week's results have drawn us closer to the leaders and while our result at Anfield will be important it's not going to define our season.
"It's an ever-changing situation at the top of the table and I see it continuing like that right to the end of the season.
"But we're only a couple of results away from the teams above us and we want to keep ourselves in contention right to the end." "I find it hard to believe that Mancini underestimated Everton last week and if his opinion then was that it was a two-horse race, his opinion is different now," Bond says.
