Bolton Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman wants to sign permanently Aston Villa fullback Stephen Warnock.

Warnock's loan at Bolton is now over.

Freedman said: "The ball is firmly in Stephen's court and if he expresses any interest in staying then we will certainly look at it."
