Danny Simpson will be offered a new contract by Manchester United - in an attempt to see off interest from Bolton Wanderers and Spanish side Real Zaragoza.
Right-back Simpson has returned to Old Trafford after a loan spell at Sunderland but he is in the last year of his contract.
