Bolton Wanderers are expected to lose on-loan winger Christian Wilhelmsson today.
The Swedish winger is on loan at the Reebok from French side Nantes but has struggled to make an impact in England and is yet to make a Premier League start for the Trotters.
As well as interest from Deportivo La Coruna, Dutch side Feyenoord are also understood to be keen on the player, but they would prefer any deal to be made during the summer, which could ruin their chances of signing the winger.
If Deportivo's interest in Wilhelmsson is serious, then his agent Fabio Alho has made it clear that a move is a possibility.
"If Deportivo are serious and want to sign Christian, that then is something we can make happen," Alho told Expressen.
"There will of course be lots of negotiations to go through and that will prove whether Deportivo are serious about getting Christian.
"Hopefully the current speculation will put some pressure on Gary Megson to play him.
"But he is calm and professional and he knows that he has got a contract whatever happens. Either at Bolton or with Nantes."
