Bolton Wanderers fullback Marcos Alonso will start against crisis club Liverpool this weekend.
The Mirror says Bolton boss Owen Coyle will hand Spanish left back Alonso his first Premier League starts - as his squad is slashed to a record low.
Young former Real Madrid prospect Alonso, Coyle's only cash buy in his year in charge, will come in for suspended Paul Robinson who has been an ever-present this season.
Alonso has only made a couple of Carling Cup appearances and missed out on reserve games during the big freeze, but Coyle is confident he is up for the Anfield challenge.
