Championship club Bolton Wanderers decided against offering a contract to midfielder Andrea Orlandi, reports the Blackpool Gazette.
The Spaniard left Blackpool after threatening to pursue a legal action against the Seasiders this summer before the Trotters showed significant interest in the services of the former Swansea City man.
The 31-year-old spent last week training with the Neil Lennon's side, but Bolton eventually decided not to offer a contract to the player prior to the transfer deadline.
