Bolton Wanderers are keen to re-sign Chung-yong Lee.
The South Korea midfielder has been released by Crystal Palace this month.
The Bolton News says Wanderers have kept in contact with Lee's representatives, and are interested in signing him this summer.
Bolton were heavily linked with a move to sign Lee on loan in January, but the deal fell through on deadline day after Palace forward Bakary Sako sustained an ankle injury that ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Lee previously spent six years at Bolton and played 195 times, scoring 20 goals.
