Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is moving for Lyon's want-away striker Sidney Govou.

The 29 year-old is out of contract at the end of next season and is refusing to sign a new deal with the French champions.

He has spent the last 12 seasons with Lyon and wants to try his luck in the Premier League, with Bolton leading the chase.

Govou said: "My time is up. I will not be signing again at Lyon."
