Bolton Wanderers are eyeing Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem.

ESPN says Bolton want to take the teenager on loan for the season.

The report claims the Trotters feel the midfielder has the qualities which could help them win promotion back to the Championship.

Arsenal and Bolton have a good relationship having already completed a deal for Rob Holding this summer.

And Zelalem could now follow in the footsteps of Jack Wilshere, who impressed during a loan spell with the League One club earlier in his career.
